The name comes from the fact that it utilizes the Bonzer Light Vehicle bottom which the Campbell Brothers first designed in 1977
This particular M3P is meant to surf in an especially shreddy fashion due to the flextail design which allows the tail to bend when engaged thus increasing its tail rocker and allowing the board to bank sharper radius turns
