with very good flesh for the vintage buffered by harmonious acidity
named as a tribute to the property’s former owner Pierre-Bernard Guisez (whose nickname was Péby)
with a touch of musk and red fruit
this small batch experiment is a young and joyful expression of Estate-grown Grenache unlike any red wine Woodstock has produced before
and a trace of toffee dominate the nose
Darroze 1983 Bellair GBA 50% 700ml le-petit-cheval with very good flesh forGold color, intense. Brown reflections. The nose is marked by the long aging: cigar box, leather, licorice, nutmeg, toast, gingerbread, and toffee. However, the nose stays fresh and light. We find these balsamic aromas, licorice, and chocolate on the palate with a more spicy finish: white pepper, and candied ginger. Nice length in the mouth.
